This 13.5oz red line selvage denim has an ultra crisp and rigid hand, it feels far more substantial than the listed ounce weight. This denim is ideal to break in from raw and create your own faded jeans that are personal to you. It's always best to start from raw, to fade and wear your jeans into your body shape for a natural, laid back looking pair of jeans. The tightly woven short slub weave selvage denim will produce jeans with an interesting and uneven character as they age. All the best characters are uneven.

Two tone, gold and lemon thread is used throughout. The thread is a heavyweight polycotton core with 100% cotton outer wrap construction. This thread is super strong with great 'fade-ability'.

Traditional hand felled seams are used to construct the rise and seat. Hand felled seams are a strong and clean construction method that are rarely seen on garments today. Hand felled seams date back to the early workwear garments of the late 1800's. All garments are designed, pattern drafted and handmade using old world sewing techniques by Ande Whall in New Zealand.

Wash them frequently or only every six months, it's up to you, they will all look good with age and wear. Take a look at the jeans details page for more information about this amazing Japanese selvage denim.
